We offer individual therapy, couples counseling, and family therapy for adolescents and adults. Our specialties include:

Do you provide in-person therapy near me?

Yes. We provide in-person counseling at our office in Round Rock.

Yes. We offer virtual counseling sessions throughout the state of Texas, making therapy accessible no matter where you live.

Is Beautiful Minds Counseling LGBTQIA+ affirming?

Yes. We provide LGBTQIA+ affirming and culturally sensitive therapy, creating a safe space for all clients.

Do you offer online or virtual therapy in Texas?

Yes. We provide in-person counseling at our office in Round Rock.

How do I schedule a therapy appointment?

Are you accepting new therapy clients?

How long are therapy sessions?

Most counseling sessions are 50–55 minutes. Some specialized services, such as EMDR intensives, may be longer.

Insurance and Payment

Do you take insurance for therapy sessions?

Yes. We accept several major insurance providers including Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, and Optum/UHC. Contact us to confirm if your plan is covered.

What if I don’t have insurance?

We offer affordable private pay counseling options. Please call us to discuss rates and payment options.

What to Expect in Therapy

What happens in the first counseling session?

Your first session is an intake appointment. Your therapist will review your history, listen to your concerns, and help you set therapy goals.

How often should I attend therapy?

This varies depending on your needs. Many clients begin with weekly sessions and later move to bi-weekly or monthly.

I’ve never tried therapy before. What should I expect?

You don’t need any prior experience. Our therapists provide a supportive, judgment-free environment where you can feel comfortable starting your journey.

What is EMDR therapy and how does it help?

EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based treatment for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and distressing life experiences. It helps the brain reprocess painful memories so they no longer feel overwhelming.

Do you offer postpartum or perinatal mental health counseling?

Yes. Dr. Beatty specializes in maternal mental health counseling to support parents through pregnancy, postpartum depression, NICU experiences, and birth trauma recovery.

Do you offer couples or family counseling?

Yes. Our therapists specialize in working with couples and family dynamics.
