I’m the founder of Beautiful Minds Counseling, a Doctor of Social Work and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor, offering both therapy as well as clinical supervision for LCSWs in Texas.

I graduated from Texas State University—back when it was still Southwest Texas!—with my bachelor’s degree, and later earned my Master of Social Work with a clinical license. I hold a Doctor of Social Work degree from Barry University, where my work focused on trauma-informed care, with a particular emphasis on supporting individuals and families through perinatal and NICU experiences.

Over the years, I’ve worked in adoption, hospice, hospital care, NICU, and with perinatal families, giving me a deep and varied perspective on the ways life transitions and medical experiences impact mental health.

I believe every client and every session is unique, requiring a personalized approach. My role is to listen, collaborate, and find the techniques that work best for you in your unique circumstances.

Outside of my work, I’m married with two wonderful boys who keep me on my toes. I love reading, spending quality time with family, and getting creative with DIY projects.
