You deserve to feel like yourself again.

IMG_5523_edited.png

Does this sound familiar?

You feel like you're surviving each day instead of actually living it.

You're ready to stop feeling stuck and start moving toward the life you've been hoping for.

You want healthier relationships, but aren't sure how to break old patterns.

You know something needs to change—you just don't have to figure it out alone.

You're exhausted from the demands of daily life and can't remember the last time you truly felt like yourself.

You and your partner love each other, but communication feels harder than it used to, and you keep having the same arguments.

You miss the version of yourself that felt confident, joyful, and hopeful, and you're ready to find them again.

You're successful on the outside, but inside you're overwhelmed, burned out, or feeling like you're never enough.

You want to feel more present, more connected, and more at peace with yourself and the people you love.

You're not looking for someone to tell you what to do—you want someone who will truly listen, help you understand yourself, and support you in creating the life you want.

You're navigating a major life transition—whether it's marriage, parenthood, career changes, grief, or caregiving—and you're struggling to adjust.

If you're ready to invest in your well-being, strengthen your relationships, and create a healthier, more fulfilling life, Jennifer would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.

Hi... I'm Jennifer

Life can be overwhelming. Whether you're managing anxiety, navigating relationship challenges, adjusting to a major life transition, or feeling the weight of everyday responsibilities, you don't have to face it alone. Therapy offers a place to slow down, gain perspective, and develop the tools to create lasting, meaningful change.

I am passionate about helping individuals and couples improve their overall quality of life. I believe that mental and physical well-being are deeply connected, and that healing happens when we address the whole person—not just the symptoms.

I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Every client brings a unique story, and every treatment plan should reflect that individuality.

We will work together to build on your strengths, overcome obstacles, and create meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to help you not only feel better but also develop the confidence, resilience, and skills to continue thriving long after therapy ends.

Our work together

Therapy is a partnership — a space where your story is heard, your feelings are honored, and your goals guide the work we do together. How we approach therapy depends on you and the challenges you’re facing. We may use talk therapy, or other trauma-informed techniques, always tailored to what will help you heal and grow. In addition to processing your experiences, we’ll incorporate psychoeducation — helping you understand how your mind and body respond to stress, trauma, and grief. This knowledge gives you insight into your reactions, reduces self-blame, and provides practical tools to manage emotions and navigate difficult moments. Together, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe and manageable. You’ll have support in building coping strategies, processing difficult experiences, and learning ways to feel calmer, more grounded, and more confident. Every step of the way, the work is centered around your unique needs, helping you reclaim control, restore balance, and reconnect with yourself.

Feeling Overwhelmed by Life

Life can feel like it's asking more of you than you have to give. Between work, relationships, family responsibilities, and trying to take care of yourself, you may feel emotionally exhausted. You might find yourself constantly "pushing through" each day while wondering why you can't seem to catch your breath. Even when things look fine from the outside, inside you may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or like you're simply surviving instead of truly living.

Women's Life Transitions

As women, we often find ourselves caring for everyone else while placing our own needs at the bottom of the list. Whether you're navigating career changes, infertility, pregnancy, parenting, caregiving, divorce, grief, or simply trying to figure out who you are in this season of life, it's easy to lose sight of yourself. Therapy offers an opportunity to pause, reconnect with what matters most, and create a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and aligned with your values.

Anxiety & Constant Worry

Living with anxiety can feel like your mind never gets a chance to rest. You may constantly replay conversations, worry about the future, or feel responsible for keeping everything and everyone together. Even when nothing seems "wrong," your body stays tense and your thoughts keep racing. Over time, this constant state of alertness can leave you feeling emotionally drained, physically exhausted, and disconnected from the life you want to enjoy. Grief related to hearing loss is real and often overlooked. You may experience sadness, anger, frustration, loneliness, or uncertainty about the future. You might replay conversations, feel disconnected from others, or struggle to recognize yourself in this new chapter of life. This isn't something you simply "get over." It's something you learn to navigate with support, understanding, and compassion. In therapy, we'll create space for your grief while helping you reconnect with yourself and the life you want to build moving forward. Together, we'll work to: * Process the losses and changes that have come with hearing loss * Explore feelings of grief, anger, frustration, or isolation * Navigate shifts in identity, relationships, and daily life * Build confidence as you adapt to new challenges and experiences * Find ways to reconnect with meaning, purpose, and joy You don't have to carry this grief alone. There is no right way to adjust to hearing loss and no timeline for healing. Therapy can provide a space to process your experience, find your footing, and move forward with greater confidence, connection, and self-compassion.

Relationships & Couples

Relationships naturally go through seasons of change, but sometimes it can feel like you and your partner are speaking different languages. Conversations turn into arguments, small frustrations become recurring conflicts, or you simply don't feel as connected as you once did. Whether you're struggling with communication, navigating a life transition together, rebuilding trust, or wanting to strengthen an already healthy relationship, therapy can help you better understand one another and reconnect in meaningful ways.

Healing through traditional talk therapy

Sometimes you just need a place where you don't have to work so hard to be understood. A space where you can talk openly about what you're experiencing, without having to explain every part of what it means to live as a d/Deaf person or to live with hearing loss. Therapy can provide that space. In our work together, we'll slow things down and explore the thoughts, emotions, and experiences that have been shaping your life. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, identity changes, or the emotional impact of hearing loss, therapy can help you better understand yourself and move forward with greater confidence. Through conversation, reflection, and support, you'll begin to: * Understand and manage difficult emotions * Build tools for coping with stress, anxiety, and overwhelm * Navigate communication challenges and relationship concerns * Strengthen confidence in yourself and your ability to advocate for your needs * Feel more connected to yourself, others, and the life you want to create Therapy offers a supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted. You don't need to have everything figured out before you begin. We'll work through it together, one step at a time.

Healing through trauma-informed care

Trauma leaves its mark on both the mind and the body, and healing requires understanding, patience, and safety. Trauma-informed care is a way of approaching therapy that prioritizes your well-being, ensures you feel safe, and meets you exactly where you are. In trauma-informed therapy, we recognize how past experiences can continue to affect your thoughts, feelings, and daily life. Together, we create a supportive environment that honors your experiences and allows you to process them without feeling overwhelmed or pressured. Through trauma-informed care, we will: Move at your pace so you always feel safe and in control. Honor your experiences and validate the emotions that come with them. Understand your body’s responses to stress and trauma, providing insight and clarity. Build coping tools to manage anxiety, flashbacks, or difficult memories. Support long-term healing by integrating your experiences into your life in a way that restores balance, confidence, and connection. This approach doesn’t just focus on what happened — it focuses on you, your resilience, and the tools you need to feel grounded, supported, and empowered in your daily life.
